Love your body. You live in it.

Hello friends on New Years Day 2024~

This 4 minute video from The Today Show in 2014 just popped up on my social media and I want to share it with you.

If you could change one thing about your body what would it be?

kids

50 adults and children were asked this question, and nearly every adult wanted to change physical traits (one woman asked, “only one?”). But children had very different answers. “A mermaid tail”. “A huge mouth like a shark so I could eat a lot of food”. “Really fast legs like a cheetah”.

Is there a voice in your head telling you that you’re not good enough – that you don’t measure up to standards imposed upon us by our culture, society, or advertising?

My one wish for you this year is that you love your body, and take really good care of it.

Eat lots of good food. Run, jump, play, lift some heavy things, and maybe even pretend to have a mermaid tail.

Learn some new things, challenge yourself, get strong.

I’m here for you. Let’s do it together.

Onward~

Polli
